You know what? Double update. Because I am so freaking tired of this comic never updating. Stupid artist.
Also, Canta! |3
took me a while to realize she was mute
Is it possible to have a "double lineage"(decended from two or more icons and displaying characteristics of both) and if so will such a character be making an appearance?
@darkmavrik- Good question! At some point, I hope to touch upon the idea that some very notable characters themselves were lineage children of other characters/notable people. To use an example that won't be in the comic: Batman was based off Zorro, who in turn was based off The Scarlet Pimpernel. All three were men who play at being an idiot/playboy in public so that the public won't suspect their secret identity as a crimefighter. In Sire, this would be explained as a lineage. Zorro would certainly be a Scarlet Pimpernel-child, but our friend Bruce Wayne could be a Zorro-child or a Scarlet Pimpernel-child, but not both.
Your explenation would explan alot. However, I was refering to two entirely separate lines Such as Dr.Frankenstein/Dr.Moreau (weird dream that actually lead me to ask about this)Although after reading your post I could agrue that this could be a single lineage.
Maybe Zorro and Dr. Frankenstein would be a good example. Lol, that would make for an interesting person.
Batman's a scientist.
While I don't plan to do anything like that, that is a really really awesome idea. What others would be fun... maybe Prospero + The Duke (from Huck Finn) could equal The Wizard of Oz? He's lost far from home, but lying about being a magician to swindle the people? XD
I agree with Merrsharr about not realizing she was mute. I only figured it out because I saw you researching the British sign language.
Also, I can just picture the Green Hornet being a lineage child of Batman or Zorro.
Oooh! I love how the mask guy is really shy of the deaf girl :)
Christine/Raoul/Erik lineage children? :) If they are - such an interesting twist with Christine being deaf! Wow!
Reading your answers in the comment section, would this mean Erik and by extension Leif, are also descendents of Svengali? :)
@Katz: Ooooh, someone's really being doing the right kinds of reading. <3
Either that guy is translating for Canta, or Canta is a skilled ventriloquist?
I know it's the former, but I like the latter.
