I assume he says "it isn't gangly!" The fact that it flusters him enough to switch to French, tho.
Oh, hey, you conjugated être wrong. I didn't even notice the first time. While I'm nitpicking, French doesn't use quotation marks--they use « and ». So, French should be "Je ne suis pas «gangly!»" which means "I am not 'gangly!'"
